Gracefully balanced and steeped in tradition, Hammered Grace is created using the time-honored 煮锤 (Zhuchui) method—where Xuan paper is softened by boiling water and refined through gentle wooden hammering. This enhances the paper’s resilience, smoothness, and brush response, making it both soft and strong.

With 40% sandalwood bark content, this semi-raw paper absorbs ink with subtle control. The surface is smooth yet textured enough making it an excellent choice for both beginners and intermediate calligraphers.

煮锤宣: 匠人将宣纸放入特制锅中，以沸水反复淋煮，使纸张纤维更加柔软韧和。随后平铺于案，手持木锤，轻敲纸面，使纸张更加平整，并增强其拉力与延展性， 制作过程经过蒸煮锤打等上百道工艺制作而成，“煮锤宣”的名字也由此得来。本店的煮锤宣六分熟左右，含40%檀皮，纸张柔韧适中。
